ий, іи – masculine

а, я – feminine

е, є – neuter

 

i.e.

це синє вікно (neu.)

вона дружня жінка (fem.)

він хороший тато (masc.)

 

Note that in the accusative (and the rest of the cases), adjectives should match the form of the noun.

 

вона п'є чорну каву (fem. acc.)

я купую біле молоко (neut. acc.)

я бачу старого тата (masc. acc.)

It's a blue window.
She's a friendly woman.
He's a good dad.

She drinks black coffee.
I buy white millk.
I see my old dad.
